KENA: Bridge of Spirits has the privilege of being one of the titles that made the most impact on players during the last PlayStation 5 presentation. The action RPG title developed by Ember Lab, authors of this impressive short from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, now leaves us with details of its combat system and history thanks to a new trailer presented at the recent Future Games Show.
Light and dark, hand in hand at KENA Bridge of Spirits
Contrary to what it might initially seem with that stunning and colorful trailer of an excellent animation level, KENA: Bridge of Spirits will be quite dark in tone, and will be a title that combines light and dark throughout the adventure. The young spirit guide Kena will try to free the spirits trapped and corrupted by darkness, and will make her way by fighting and solving puzzles scattered throughout the world.
KENA Bridge of Spirits will combine fast combat and exploration
As Michael Grier and Josh Grier, brothers and creatives of Ember Lab say, KENA: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game that will combine fast combat with exploration phases and a fun gathering component, referring to corrupted forest creatures. The main focus of the title will be on unleashing these adorable creatures named Rots while investigating the background of the story, while also developing Kena’s abilities.
KENA: Bridge of Spirits will be released in 2021 on PlayStation 5 as a temporary exclusive, and later on PC.
