Xbox Series X confirms its own event as part of the Summer Game Fest

Microsoft has shown that it will be of great importance during the Summer Game Fest. If the arrival of the Demos Summer Game Fest Event was confirmed just a few days ago at the end of this month of July (from July 21 to 27), now the great moment has arrived that the fans of the company are waiting for. Especially those who are already impatient to see the great premiere of Xbox Series X. It will be this July 23 at 6:00 pm when the company makes one of the most anticipated presentations by players.

Why so much impatience with this Xbox Games Showcase? This is because Halo: Infinite will be one of the great protagonists during the presentation. And although at the moment everything that is to come is unknown, it is one of the most anticipated events since it will bring with it some of the triple A’s that will make their arrival with the next generation console.

For this reason, we remind you that it will be during this July 23 at 6:00 p.m. when we will be able to see first-hand some of the news related to the next-generation console from Microsoft. An official presentation that the new generation will present to us and that, from 5:00 p.m., will have a preview presented by Geoff Keighley, of which we do not know all its content.

What video game companies have confirmed their presence at Summer Game Fest?

Although at the moment there is still a lack of confirmations or companies that mark the dates to be able to enjoy their presentations in a digital presentation, it is time to meet those companies that will be willing to revolutionize the video game sector. Below we show you the companies that have confirmed their stay in this video game festival.

The big surprise comes with names like Microsoft and Sony, especially since both companies are ready to present the new generation of consoles. But, in the meantime, we indicate the names that have already confirmed attendance and are preparing your event.

What is Summer Game Fest?

If you thought that with the absence of events like E3, EVO 2020 or Gamescom this summer it would be deserted in terms of news in the world of video games, you were very wrong. From this month of May and until August, an event will be held that will bring together the announcements of the most important video game companies in the industry, called Summer Game Fest and it was presented a few hours ago by journalist Geoff Keighley, also responsible for The Game Awards contest.

Summer Game Fest was born as an online alternative to the great fairs of the video game industry, such as E3, which due to the coronavirus crisis cannot be held this summer. It will be held for four months and its function is to amplify the announcements, presentations, news or new trailers of the associated video game companies.

What can we find during the Summer Game Fest?

One of the most interesting points of this event is that the companies not only intend to present to the players the great news that are yet to come. Rather, they also intend to share incredible opportunities with players regarding special content.

Companies like Steam, Xbox and more platforms have announced that they will be announcing dates so that players can enjoy not only exclusive trailers, but also playable demos, alphas and even betas of the games that are to come. And although at the moment there are many dates to confirm, we already know that one of those events will be on Steam in June.

Four months loaded with ads?

It may seem like a long time for the upcoming announcements, but as announced, the event won’t have its four months with announcements every day. During this time, the companies will be presenting, little by little, their news. In this way we will have, before us, a complete event that will release small doses of information.

Over the months, video game companies will confirm dates and even times for their events. In such a way that players can enjoy the news of their favorite games and even marking reminders to avoid missing these live shows. Or even the opportunity to test the titles as soon as they are available.
